A polyamide based general purpose printing ink system for only surface printing application on shopping bags, twist wrappers etc.

Print Process: Gravure/Flexo

Substrates: Applicable on corona treated PP & PE, PVC, Cellophone, Metalized PVC/BOPP/PET/ Pearl BOPP/Heat sealable     BOPP and soft foils

  • Heat resistance property up to 80 deg C

Shades: Available in standard shades with intermixing capability to achieve desired shades at press room level. Our shades     cover excellent range of ARSR, Light fastness and food packaging grade.

Print Viscosity: Viscosity (in sec by 8-4 Cup @30 deg c)--15 to 20 for Gravure, 20 to 30 for Flexo

Solvent System (for Flexo)

  • Normal: IPA:NBA----30:70
  • Fast: TOLUENE: IPA:NBA---20:50:30
  • Retarder: upto 10% of NBA

Special Applications :

  • For Soap & Detergent / Oil Packing-Recommended GRAVFLEX TWIN PACK with Hardner KP35 (Dosage 3 to 5%)
  • For Surface Printing Applications by Flexo on PP / HDPE / Woven Sacks — {Suitable for treated and untreated fabrics} Recommended GRAVFLEX SACKPLUS
  • For High Water Resistance / Deep Fridge Resistance suitable for Water/Milk Pouches - Recommended GRAVFLEX DAIRYPLUS
  • Remark: Not recommended for Any Type of Lamination Applications.

PVC Surface

  • Excellent Scuff Resistance
  • High Heat Resistance from 160° to 180°C
  • Suitable for speed from 100 M/M to 250 M/M
  • Higher Bond Strength
  • Good Deep Freeze Resistance in surface application
  • Moderately oil resistant. For best result use of Top Coat Varnish is required

Solvent System (for Gravure)

  • Slow ETHYL ALCOHOL: NBA: BUTYL ACETATE--- 80:10:10
  • Normal ETHYL ACETATE : IPA : TOLUENE/ ETHYL ALCOHOL --- 40:20:40
  • Fast ETHYL ACETATE : IPA : NBA --- 60:30:10
  • Retarder DAA, Butyl Acetate can be used

Remark:Highly recommended for Heat Resistant Surface Printing Applications.
